Ermes 2.0 cycling jacket.
The most refined cycling jacket on the market.

The Ermes 2.0 is an advanced cycling jacket designed for long, demanding training sessions. Its main purpose is to protect against wind, rain, and cold, while maintaining full breathability during intense rides.
We designed the jacket to fit comfortably in the cycling position. The cut is form-fitting, aerodynamic, and stable at high speeds, without restricting range of motion.
The technical membrane used offers a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 8,000 g/m²/24 h, providing real protection against precipitation while simultaneously effectively wicking away moisture vapor during intense exercise. The material blocks wind, stabilizes the microclimate at low temperatures, and responds to increases in body temperature during riding.
Additionally, the outer surface is finished with a DWR (Water Repellent), which allows water to roll off the fabric rather than soak into it. The result: the material doesn't absorb moisture, doesn't get cold, and retains its breathability for a long time.
With functionality in mind, we abandoned the traditional three-pocket layout, replacing it with Ermes 2.0:
-
on one side a pocket with a flap closed with a neodymium magnet – quick access, secure closure,
-
on the other side, an asymmetrical pocket bag with a reflective finish, making it easier to reach while riding,
-
the inside of the pocket is equipped with a silicone stabilizing stripthat prevents the phone or wallet from moving.
The jacket is equipped with a YKK zipper, guaranteeing solidity and durability even during intensive use.
Reflective accents ensure safety after dark, while the neutral, classic black with subtle 3D markings gives the jacket a universal character.
We've opted out of taping seams to preserve the membrane's structure and maintain its durability and flexibility. A carefully selected stitch minimizes water penetration while extending the product's lifespan.
Ermes 2.0 is a professional training tool, designed for riding when the pace cannot drop and the weather becomes less favorable.
The jacket is designed for both men and women – when selecting the size, please refer to the men's size chart.
Please note! During production, we used two patterns on the inside of the jacket: hexagons and dots. Both membranes function identically. If you have a pattern preference, please specify it in the order details—otherwise, a pattern will be selected randomly.
Advantages
- Professional cut, fitted construction
- Soft and pleasant to the touch material

Specification
- Purpose: For Advanced and Pro Tour

- Zipper used: YKK split, fabric covered
Characteristics
Moisture Management materials feature a special, double-sided knit structure that effectively wicks moisture from the inner surface to the outer surface. This keeps the skin dry, significantly increasing comfort, even during intense exercise.
Products with this mark indicate the use of materials that help maintain a comfortable body temperature.
Matte material that absorbs light.
The material's finishing technology. The surface tension is such that water, instead of soaking into the material, rolls off its surface (the material is hydrophobic). This process diminishes its properties with washing.
Care
- Wash at 30 ° C on a delicate cycle, and if you want the greatest durability, mock your favorite outfits by hand
- Do not use fabric rinsing fluid
- Make dark and light colors separately
- Do not bleach
- Do not clean
- Do not dry
- Do not iron

It was worth waiting 30 days!!!!

I initially ordered a Giro 390 jacket in size 2XL (I'm 193 cm tall and weigh 88 kg). It turned out to be much too big, with the bottom sticking out dramatically. The top fit quite well. After consulting over the phone, I decided to exchange it for an Ermes 2.0 in the same size. It fits much better now, the bottom sticks out acceptably, and the waistband could be better (similar to vests). The Ermes 2XL turned out to be much tighter than the 390 2XL jacket, and is also shorter and has shorter sleeves. As for the features, the Ermes is essentially just a very thin membrane without any insulation, providing good wind protection and satisfactory breathability. For temperatures around 5 degrees Celsius, a good thermal jacket plus an Ermes is sufficient. In sub-zero temperatures, it can be a problem, as the jacket is quite tight in the sleeves and chest, and it can be difficult to stuff additional layers underneath. The Ermes is lightweight and takes up very little space – it's an advanced windbreaker with excellent properties. The 390 series jacket was made of a completely different material, giving the impression of being insulated, and the looser cut allows for more layers underneath. It's just a shame that you need a large belly for it to fit properly. If you're slim, you'll probably want to size down from the size chart for the 390 series jacket.

The jacket is exactly as recommended by the store, and fits well on a slim, tall person (XL). Additional zippered ventilation would be helpful. The jacket is lightweight, and the pockets are roomy.

I actually wanted something thicker, but fitted for winter, and I didn't read the description. When the package arrived and I saw how thin the jacket was, I hesitated whether to return it or try it. I decided to take a chance and ride it. It worked. This contradicts my previous experience with other cycling clothing, but with one layer of thermal underwear, it's OK in the tested range of 3-10C (30-50F) both off-road and on-road. You have to be careful off-road, as it doesn't look like it could withstand more severe abrasions. It's breathable, but with a hard ride in the Z4, there's no point pretending you'll come back dry. Even with a wet inner layer, it's not cold, as the wind protection is excellent. It also works well on shady descents at >70 km/h (43 mph). Size L is perfect for me at 193 cm (6'3") and 85 kg (185 lbs). My torso could be a bit longer—not critical. The sleeves are a bit too long, but that's not a problem. The tight fit and slim sleeves with elastic inserts and strong wrist cuffs eliminate ballooning and flapping (only microscopically at speeds above 60 km/h). The very high stand-up collar is great. In short, the Ermes 2.0 provides very good thermal and wind protection, which I didn't expect with such a thin material. I haven't tested it in the rain yet.
PS. I don't know what mRuk is talking about. 2XL for the same height and a 3kg difference, when is L okay for me? That's supposed to be a fitted jacket! Either the guy weighs 88kg in his chest and biceps (I ride a bike, so no), or he weighs significantly more than he wrote, or there was some confusion with the sizing at Martombike..

When I impatiently unpacked the package from the courier containing the Ermes 2.0 jacket, I was very surprised and wary. I wanted to return the item, but after the first 20 hours of riding in various conditions, with temperatures ranging from -2°C to around 6°C, the jacket performed superbly. I appreciate its high breathability; the membrane performs excellently, blocking out the wind. At temperatures around 0°C, I wore only a sweatshirt and a long-sleeved sweatshirt underneath. After two hours of intense riding, my clothes were still dry; I didn't feel the cold. The inside of the jacket was only damp, and the membrane was slightly wrinkled in those areas. To summarize, I'll quote another review of this jacket, which perfectly describes it: "The Ermes 2.0 provides very good thermal and wind protection, which I didn't expect from such a thin material."

Why is it strange? Because for a cold-weather jacket, it's incredibly thin... one layer of material... no insulation... BUT IT DOES THE JOB! Of course, you need to wear two or even three layers of thermal underwear or something similar underneath, but it's so windproof and vapor-permeable that even though I thought it would be cold, it was perfectly fine, even for a two-hour ride at around 2-3 degrees!

Well-cut and fitted. I'm 193cm tall, weigh 85-89kg, and the XL fits perfectly. The sleeves are a bit longer, but that's a plus, and it ends where it needs to at the waist. It's very thin and lightweight, but that doesn't mean it doesn't protect against wind and cold. It protects very well. You need to wear two, maybe even three, layers underneath, depending on what thermal underwear you have in your wardrobe. I've found myself sweating in this jacket during intense activity. I confirm other reviews about its breathability, saying that it sometimes doesn't wick all the moisture away, and sweat condenses on the inner layer. The jacket will also protect against light rain. So far, I've been riding in temperatures as low as -5°C, and I wear three layers underneath at temperatures between 2-5°C. I think I'd only wear one layer above 10°C. The only drawbacks I miss are a small zippered pocket for change, a card, and lightweight keys. The main zipper could be double-sided. For the price, five stars.

I was skeptical about buying this jacket; it's so thin and supposed to be warm ;-// After my first trip to the mountains, I changed my mind. The first climb and I had to take off one of the layers underneath. At 7 degrees Celsius and steep descents, I only wore a cotton sweatshirt and a short-sleeved cycling jersey underneath. The construction of the jacket's sleeves stopped the wind, preventing my arms from getting chilled. After a longer ride, when it got colder, I threw on a vest from this brand on the descents. A week ago, I went to the mountains again, at 3-4 degrees Celsius, just a sweatshirt, a thin long-sleeved shirt, and a thin short-sleeved cycling jersey underneath, sometimes adding a vest on steep descents... The jacket is warmer than it looks... I recommend it

The jacket fulfills its function perfectly, it protects 100% against the wind, tested in temperatures from 3 to 12 degrees. Size L is perfect for 182 cm and 74 kg

It looks very good, works very well for sporty driving, I don't recommend it for recreation, unless in the summer :)

Size 3XL fits a person 198 cm and weighing 110 kg :) I recommend it
Bartek –
A great jacket for the transitional period, when temperatures hover around 8-12 degrees Celsius (at least for me). Paired with long thermal underwear and a short-sleeved T-shirt, it's perfect. It provides complete thermal comfort during your workout, while your clothes stay dry underneath, allowing you to move comfortably even after a break without feeling the cold. I highly recommend it!

Nice jacket. Protects well against the wind. Tested in temperatures of 5-10 degrees. Size M for a person 178cm and 72kg is ok.
Igor (verified) –
Small enough to fit in a jersey pocket. Great for lower temperatures or rain (of course, it's not 100% waterproof, but it's still capable of 1-2 hour hikes). A good compromise between insulation and ventilation.
**edit** 184 cm and 81 kg XL
Tomasz Skóra (verified) –
The jacket is made of top-quality materials. It fits nicely (I'm 194cm and weigh 85kg – size XL). Most importantly, the jacket has long sleeves. Despite the aero position, the wrists remain covered. I recommend it 100%
