Expedition Must Have – Primaloft thermal sweatshirt.

This sweatshirt is made of 100 g/m² Primaloft® fabric, which places it in the category of lightweight, highly effective thermal layers. Primaloft®, known as technical wool, provides an excellent insulation-to-weight ratio and excellent compressibility thanks to its unique microfiber structure. Merino wool is a great material, as is down, but they have one drawback: they lose their effectiveness when wet. This material retains its insulating properties even when damp, while effectively wicking moisture away from the body. This is a key advantage over classic double-face fleeces.

This material is Primaloft®'s answer to the popular Polartec Alpha technology.

The material composition is 58% recycled polyester, thanks to which the knitwear maintains low weight, very good elasticity and quick drying, while meeting the requirements of more responsible production.

From an outdoor perspective, it's an absolute must-have for bikepacking trips, both short and longer, multi-day routes. It also works well as an insulating layer on training trips, where low weight, reliability, and quick recovery after sweating are key.

The cut was designed as a technical layer – close-fitting but not restrictive. The sweatshirt pairs well with INONI anatomical jackets, especially the 1310 and 307 models. This combination creates a stable microclimate: high thermal insulation with effective moisture wicking under the membrane. This guarantees excellent thermal insulation even at sub-zero temperatures.

The design incorporates technical details: a jacquard tab from the Grab Your Bike and a small central embroidery, allowing the sweatshirt to maintain a purely sporty character without unnecessary embellishments. Thanks to the neutral fabric, it can be worn for virtually any sport – from cycling and running to outdoor sports in variable conditions. We tested it on a gravel trip, on long walks in challenging weather conditions, and also on a mountain expedition, where we generated high temperatures on the ascents and focused on maintaining warmth on the descents. It's brilliant!
