The 521 cycling shorts are made of a dense, lightweight, and matte knit fabric with exceptional durability. The material is completely opaque, abrasion-resistant, and provides a gentle compression effect that stabilizes muscles during cycling. The special weave of the fabric allows the shorts to perfectly fit the body, ensuring complete comfort even during long training sessions.
The legs are finished with wide, ribbed anti-slip cuffs that prevent the material from riding up and keep them in the perfect position while riding. Their elongated profile means they end just above the knee, providing a snug fit.
This model features comfortable, specially designed shoulder straps. A laser-cut mesh panel on the back enhances breathability and improves ventilation. The straps keep the shorts in place regardless of riding intensity or position on the bike.
The Mortirolo Long Distance Pad is attached using innovative 8PS stitching technology, which provides an eight-point, flexible connection to the shorts' construction. This allows the pad to move with your body's movements. The threads used in this connection ensure that abrasion or unraveling of the pad is virtually impossible. The pad is made of multi-density foam that effectively absorbs shock and wicks away moisture. Additionally, the top layer of the pad is coated with antibacterial microfilament material, ensuring dryness and comfort during long distances.

After one 60km ride, the fabric on the inner thigh was frayed (most likely from the fabric rolling (?) against the saddle (!)), and despite fitting true to size, the pad was wearing out, and the seams were rubbing against my butt. Nice shoulder straps and thigh straps – that's all I could find.

This is my second pair of these shorts; the first one works perfectly. The material is a bit unusual, feeling thick, but it doesn't bother me when riding in high temperatures. The newer model has a different waistband (it looks better, but the shorts are about an inch shorter). The previous pair held the shorts in place, but I can't say much about the newer one. But the most important thing is the liner, and this one works great – it's comfortable from the start, and even better after a few hours.
